What is "Elderly care au pairs"?

An Elderly Care Au-Pair (ECAP) is someone from a different country who is willing to assist the older person in their daily life as is necessary for example dressing, bathing, and going for walks and other outings. In exchange for their services they receive pocket money, accommodation and food.

What are the duties of "Elderly care au pairs"?

Duties include light housework, meal preparation, ironing for the elderly, general care duties, help with personal care, shopping and looking after pets if necessary.Working hours are generally 5 full days a week with 2 free days.They should also be entitled to 1 week of paid holiday per every 3 months of work.
